This Radiant Soul
There are times when beauty slices me right open and I glimpse the great depths of my own being, soul light shining, some presence within that exists beyond the constraints of this single life.
When I am still and quiet
I become aware of something inside me
that transcends time and place.
A presence, loving intelligence
a point of clarity in the dark.
Many different moments
in the field of existence woven together
by a single thread.
A continuum made up of many lives
passing in and out of the plain of this reality.
Wisdom growing, love maturing,
a lamp gathering luminosity.
Lighting the way to the source of light.
When I am still and silent
I become aware of the light
burning within me, this radiant soul.
