Our Own beautiful Soul

Our Own beautiful Soul

I’m out of sorts today,
somehow slightly out of tune,
odd pains in my body,
everything an effort.

Like a car that has had a crash
twisting its chassis but still driveable,
it crabs along the road at a strange angle.

This is how we go through life,
we have this beautiful soul
but we have somehow got out of synch,
we crab along pursuing bodily desires,
dragging along our list of grievances

our chassis somehow twisted
around the axis of our spiritual self
never quite managing to stay in tune
with our own beautiful soul.

This flower is from one of our succulent house plants , a kalanchoe blassfeldania. The flower is approx 10mm across. To get the photo I used a macro extension lense with the depth of field created taking 44 shots at different focal plains approx 0.25mm apart then compiled into a single focused image using Zerene Photo Stacker.
