Photos From On The Mountain
Most years I fit in a few climbs of Taranaki and various other tramps either on the slopes of Taranaki or on the Pouakai or Kaitaki ranges. I often climb at night so that I can be on the summit for sunrise. Seeing the sunrise from the top the mountain is always a special privalege for me even on the mornings when my fingers are so frozen that I can barely operate my camera. These photos are a collection from various climbs and tramps on the slopes of Taranaki or the ranges made over the last few years.
