A Banded Rail exploring the lawn at Glenfern sanctuary on Great Barrier Island. We spent 3 nights staying in Glenfern cottage which is inside the pest proof fence of the glenfern sanctuary on Great Barrier Island. Every day we were there we saw banded rail coming out to forage on the lawn.
